I also managed to get a kayaking trip in with my friend Karl Rivas. We met near Lampasas, Texas to run the Colorado River about 15 miles above Lake Buchanan. Saturday and Sunday we ran a total of about 23 miles on the Guadalupe. Both rivers were running way above their usual flow rates; the Colorado was running high enough to take most of the rapids out of play, but not high enough to be dangerous. The Guadalupe was a blast, with most of the Class II rapids translating into Class IIIs.
Video? But of course! There's Gorman Falls on the Colorado, here and here.
The Guadalupe trip is here, here, here, here, here, and here.
